I have been asked many times if it is safe to come to Israel right now.  I can tell you that I feel safe and make keeping safe a priority.  Here are some facts:

• The Israeli police and army are spread throughout, keeping a close eye.
• When I tour with clients, we go nowhere near where there has been any violence.
• I am diligent about security updates and the news.
• Tourists are not targets.

For the most part, the violence has subsided and things are quieting down.  Attacks that have occurred recently have been deep in the West Bank, which is not on the itinerary. Finally, there are great deals right now, because tourism has been slow.  Hotels are reducing their prices and shopkeepers are willing to make a deal!

Come to Israel, now more than ever.
